MINEX
Eurasia’26

The 14th Conference on Mining and Mineral Exploration in Eurasia.

Theme: From Agreements to Action: Delivering Eurasia's Critical Minerals Future
Part of London Mining Week, 27 November – 3 December 2026
About the Conference

A cross-border forum for Eurasian mining & investment.

The 2026 conference is convened against a backdrop of historic regulatory transformations across Central Asia, the Caucasus and Mongolia - and the strategic elevation of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route.

The 14th MINEX Eurasia Conference will take place in London on 30 November 2026. Functioning as a vital, integrated component of the broader London Mining Week (scheduled from 27 November to 3 December 2026), MINEX Eurasia 2026 serves as the United Kingdom’s premier cross-border forum dedicated exclusively to mining trends, geological exploration, and strategic investment opportunities across Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Mongolia.

The 2026 conference is convened against a backdrop of historic regulatory transformations within the region, most notably the implementation of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s progressive new tax code effective 1 January 2026, and the strategic elevation of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR), widely referred to as the Middle Corridor.

This year’s conference brings together industry experts, senior officials, and leading companies to explore opportunities and address challenges in the mining sector across Central Asia, Mongolia, the Black Sea, and the Caspian and Caucasus regions. It also serves as a platform for exchanging practical insights on navigating risks and accelerating mining project development.

The conference serves mining and metals companies, investors, financiers, government regulators, and service providers, attracting participants from the UK and around the world. If you work for or manage one of these types of organisations, you will find yourself very much at home at MINEX Eurasia.

Key Thematic Pillars · 2026

Three forces redefining Eurasian mining.

From the physical reality of the Middle Corridor, to landmark regulatory reform, to a new geometry of capital - 2026 marks an inflection point for the region.

01

The “Middle Corridor” Powerhouse

Moving beyond dialogue to address the physical and financial bottlenecks of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. We focus on strategies to transform this critical transit path into a fully integrated, value-generating industrial belt.

Infrastructure & Transit
02

The Midstream Opportunity & Regulatory Reform

Unlocking vast value-added processing capabilities. Driven by landmark regulatory changes, including the implementation of Kazakhstan’s progressive 2026 tax code, the region is positioned to capture massive downstream margins in battery precursors, refined copper, and specialized alloys.

Midstream & Reform
03

New Capital Flows & Strategic Synergy

Facilitating cross-border investments and robust “friendshoring” partnerships that explicitly align Central Asian mineral reserves with Europe’s pressing technological and industrial demands.

Capital & Friendshoring
Strategic Context

Why 2026 matters.

A convergence of regulatory reform, new transit geography, and rising global demand for critical raw materials is reshaping the investment thesis for Eurasian mining.

Kazakhstan’s New Tax Code

Progressive 2026 regime reshaping fiscal terms across the region.

Middle Corridor / TITR

Trans-Caspian route emerging as a strategic industrial belt.

Critical Raw Materials

Surging global demand for copper, lithium, rare earths and precursors.

Cross-Border Investment

New capital corridors connecting Europe with Eurasian reserves.

Value-Added Processing

Midstream margins in battery precursors, refined copper, alloys.

London Mining Week
2026

27 November – 3 December 2026 MINEX Eurasia: 30 November 2026

London Mining Week returns from 27 November to 3 December 2026, bringing the global mining industry together in London for a concentrated week of senior-level engagement and commercial decision-making.

London Mining Week was established in 2025 by Beacon Events to create a single, co-ordinated week when the industry converges on the capital. Its inaugural edition delivered more than 12 events across London, attracted thousands of mining professionals, and rapidly established itself as a fixed point in the global mining calendar.

With its unrivalled concentration of financial institutions, legal expertise, and international mining leadership, London is the ideal platform for strategic dialogue and cross-border collaboration. Decision-makers worldwide converge on the city for high-level meetings, capital-markets access, and global visibility.

Anchoring the week is Resourcing Tomorrow, taking place from 1 to 3 December 2026, which attracts over 2,300 senior decision-makers from every corner of the mining value chain. MINEX Eurasia 2026 takes place on 30 November, the day before Resourcing Tomorrow opens, maximising attendance and networking opportunities for the full week.
