Relevant Experience/Specialization
Özkan has 16 years’ experience in the insurance industry, bringing deep knowledge of the international insurance market and a strong understanding of project requirements across Europe and Asia. He has particular expertise in construction and complex risks.
Based in London, Özkan advises on project insurance strategy across the project lifecycle, including program development, marketing, placement strategy and policy wording. He also currently leads negotiations on insurance requirements across the Central and Eastern Europe, Asia and London markets, working closely with dedicated Willis service teams worldwide. Before joining our GB Construction Specialty team in 2021, Özkan managed projects as both an underwriter and a broker in Turkey, including roles with firms such as Allianz and Aon.
Education and Credentials
Özkan holds a BA in Economics from Marmara University and an Executive MBA from Istanbul Technical University.
